For use with Meyn Vent Machine for Small Birds. MandM Poultry’s hi-yield, hi-performance vent blade is designed with unique features to deliver precision cuts every time, and assure USDA requirements are met with higher yield results. The flat surface of the blade prevents unnecessary yield loss by forcing downward tension in the vent area before cutting, eliminating excessive “gathering” of the surrounding skin, fat and meat. This ensures that the only cuts made are the cuts necessary to remove the cloaca as required by USDA. The cutting points of the blade provide a much cleaner cut than standard methods of full plunge cutting, which causes gathering. No sharpening required. Plant testing has proven the beveled fluted point provides consistent sharpness in a full production environment. This tool improves accuracy and allows for quick set-up of the probe, ensuring maximum performance for the Ventor operation.
