Dura-Premium synchronous belts feature a classic trapezoidal tooth profile. The tooth profile is low and has a large surface area at the tip of the tooth providing good support on sliding conveyor surfaces. Dura-Premium Belts are manufactured with a heavy-duty, nylon-based, woven fabric tooth covering. Helically wound tensile cords are engineered, twisted, chemically set and are made with a high temperature chloroprene polymer throughout the belt. Double sided timing belts offer power transmission from both sides, and are often used in reversing and serpentine applications. The backing is precisely ground for smooth uniform running. The helically wound tensile cords are engineered, twisted and chemically set. Fiberglass cord material with standard widths from 1/8″ to 4″.
